Former WWE stars Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson have been announced for a match where they will face off against some very familiar opponents.
The Good Brothers will be in action at NGW: Tennessee’s Wrestle Wars show on July 26. The duo will face two young stars who look to follow in their fathers’ footsteps.
Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson are slated to face CJ Gallows and Avery Styles at the event later this month.
CJ Gallows is the son of Doc Gallows. The 18 year old made his pro-wrestling debut in February for SECW Pro Wrestling, teaming with Doc Gallows.
Avery Styles’ father is AJ Styles. Avery Styles made his pro-wrestling debut in late-June, facing Ashton Martin at Squared Circle Action’s Freedom Fling event.
The July 26 event will take place exactly one month following Avery Styles’ in-ring debut.
AJ Styles, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson have a storied history together, wrestling together as part of the Bullet Club in NJPW, and as part of “The Club” and “The OC” in WWE.
This trio last teamed together at the December 29, 2023 WWE house show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, defeating Grayson Waller and Pretty Deadly.
Their most recent televised match together saw them defeat Chad Gable, Otis and Baron Corbin on the December 5, 2022 Raw episode.
As with any discipline, getting reps in with experienced names is the best way to improve your craft as a pro-wrestler. There aren’t a ton of active stars with more experience than Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, who have won gold together literally all over the world.
Following the careers of their fathers, many fans will be interested in watching CJ Gallows and Avery Styles make their own paths in the pro-wrestling world.
