AEW
On Saturday, October 17, All Elite Wrestling returns to pay-per-view with AEW WrestleDream 2026 from Orlando, Florida.
The card has taken shape with several notable title bouts to take place next weekend.
There are a few title changes that may take place that could totally shift the landscape of the promotion moving forward.
Here are three potential title changes at AEW WrestleDream 2026.
Tommaso Ciampa dethrones Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship
On the October 10 Grand Slam France edition of AEW Collision, Andrade El Idolo defeated Michael Oku to retain the AEW National Championship.
Post match, El Idolo issued a challenge to anyone to face him for the title at WrestleDream 2026.
This brought out Tommaso Ciampa, who accepted the challenge and attacked Andrade to make a statement.
With his relentless pursuit of gold in AEW, Ciampa could be the one to take the National Title from Andrade in Orlando.
āHangmanā Adam Page & Brodido beat Swerve Strickland & The New Level to win the AEW World Trios Championship

At All Out 2026, Swerve Strickland and The New Level defeated āHangmanā Adam Page and Brodido to retain the AEW World Trios Championships.
This show-stealing bout showcased the hatred between Swerve and āHangmanā that was once again present when Bandido beat Kofi to retain the ROH World Title at Grand Slam France.
Following this bout, a Two Out of Three Falls Match was announced for the AEW World Trios Championships at WrestleDream 2026.
Considering this rematch will take place just a few weeks after their previous meeting, it makes sense if āHangmanā and Brodido find a way to get the victory here to further progress this rivalry with Swerve and New Level.
Thekla regains the AEW Womenās World Championship from Mercedes MonĆØ
At AEW All Out 2026, Thekla defeated Willow Nightingale to become the number one contender for the AEW Womenās World Championship at WrestleDream 2026.
Now, āThe Toxic Spiderā will challenge Mercedes MonĆØ for the gold on October 17.
While this reign feels like it is just getting started, there is no denying that MonĆØ will be facing a threat she has not faced in the past in Thekla.
Considering her unpredictable personality and her willingness to do whatever possible to get the win, Thekla could have what it takes to dethrone Mercedes for the AEW Womenās World Championship at WrestleDream 2026.
