With the WWE tag team division not being in the best of health right now, some new tag teams may be needed in order to spice things up a bit.

While the company could look to the free agent market in order to make some new acquisitions, they already have plenty talent on their roster that may be better used in the tag division than as singles.

Here are three new WWE pairings that could bolster the tag team division:

Ethan Page & Big Cass

This past Monday on Raw (October 19) we saw what may be the beginning of a new alliance on the red brand, when Ethan Page and Big Cass emerged to beat down Chad Gable, Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio after their Intercontinental Championship three-way.

Admittedly, the attack was well coordinated timing wise, but Cass and Page didn’t actually interact, as the seven foot tall star was busy targeting Lee and Mysterio, while Page was laser focused on Chad Gable and the IC Title.

It’s pretty clear they have their own goals, but there is the potential for some crossover there as well, making for what could be the start of a new friendship between the two former AEW stars.

Dragon Lee & Rey Mysterio

Speaking of that incident on Raw, we could also see Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio take their long-established friendship and turn it into a sustained run in the tag team division.

Lee had success as a tag team with AJ Styles this time last year and has used that to propel himself into contention for the IC Title throughout 2026, a title Mysterio has also been chasing throughout the year.

With Ethan Page now poised to feud with Gable for the title, it may be time for Rey and Dragon to pivot and focus on claiming tag team gold once they’ve gotten past Big Cass once and for all.

Jordynne Grace & Ivy Nile

WWE's Jordynne Grace and Ivy Nile

There have reportedly been creative pitches for Ivy Nile and Jordynne Grace to form a WWE tag-team.

A new tag team of Jordynne Grace and Ivy Nile is something that has been rumored for over a month, but we have yet to see any indication that a debut is coming in the near future.

In a recent Fightful Select update on the situation, it was noted that this was the tentative plan as of September and vignettes had been filmed for the new team.

While it is unclear whether WWE will proceed with this plan, air the vignettes and unite Grace and Nile on TV, it was noted that the company could also go in a different direction entirely.

Grace and Nile would make for a perfect tag team given their shared athletic ability and strength, and given that they’ve had so little to do this year, an alliance would help give them a much needed career reset.
