On Friday, October 23, CMLL will present their Grand Prix de Amazonas main event this year.
The 11-on-11 matchup will feature talent from all over the world, including those from the AEW roster.
Considering the partnership between the two promotions, it should not be shocking to see All Elite Wrestling having a heavy presence on this major bout coming up in Arena Mexico.
Here are six AEW stars to compete in the CMLL Grand Prix de Amazonas 2026.
Persephone
It should be no surprise that Persephone will compete for Team CMLL for the Grand Prix de Amazonas 2026 match.
While she has signed a dual contract with both CMLL and AEW, Perse is still the CMLL World Women’s Champion and is the face of the company’s Amazonas division.
Holding gold in both promotions as the TBS Champion as well, all eyes should be on Persephone in this match on the October 23 show.
Queen Aminata
On Team World, there will be several stars from the AEW roster competing.
Queen Aminata is someone who has been a featured star on AEW TV as of late.
After coming up short against Persephone in a TBS Championship four-way at AEW WrestleDream 2026, Aminata might be looking to score a pinfall over Persephone to get another opportunity.
Harley Cameron
Another AEW star who will be part of Team World in the Grand Prix de Amazonas 2026 is Harley Cameron.
The former AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion will look to make her presence felt in this bout.
Making her CMLL debut, Cameron can make her mark in this Cibernetico bout on October 23.
Megan Bayne
Someone who has been a force wherever she goes in AEW or elsewhere is Megan Bayne.
One half of Divine Dominion will be part of the Team World in the CMLL Grand Prix de Amazonas 2026 match.
With her mixture of size, power and agility, Bayne should hold her own and could make it to the very end of this 11-on-11 main event showdown.
Thunder Rosa
In 2026, Thunder Rosa became the latest star to sign a dual contract with AEW and CMLL.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion will be part of Team CMLL in the Grand Prix de Amazonas 2026 bout.
While she is the current Mexican National Women’s Champion, Rosa should have some interesting interactions with both Team CMLL as well as Team World during this contest.
Marina Shafir
Shotzi was scheduled to take part of the CMLL Grand Prix de Amazonas 2026, but she had to be pulled after a passing in her family.
In her place, AEW’s Marina Shafir will take her place and look to continue The Death Riders’ presence in CMLL.
Wanting a standout performance, Shafir will come in with a chip on her shoulder after not being originally announced for this match and should come in with a fire that no other competitor might have in this match from Arena Mexico.
