While Sami Zayn has had to contend with at least six “sharks” circling his Undisputed WWE Championship, at least he hasn’t been totally alone in doing so, as he’s now got his “Ride or Dies” in his corner: Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae.

The pair have already massively helped Zayn in both winning and retaining his championship, but it’s fair to say that the union has been mutually beneficial as Gargano and LeRae have been featured in a higher profile spot than ever before since aligning with “The Last Real Good Guy.”

This makes adding to the faction a tempting proposition, as there are many other names on the WWE roster that could also benefit from a role in the Ride or Dies.

Here are three names that could potentially stand alongside Sami Zayn as his next Ride or Die.

Ricky Saints

While their union resulted in a loss, we did see Ricky Saints step in and fight alongside Sami Zayn and Johnny Gargano this past Friday on SmackDown, as the trio took on Penta, Rey Fenix and Trick Williams.

Given that Saints took the defeat, Zayn may not see value in bringing him aboard his group, but there’s also always a chance Saints could prove his worth to the Undisputed WWE Champion later down the line.

Saints has been used better on SmackDown in recent weeks than he was for much of the summer, but he’s still far away from being treated like a future main event talent. Putting him in Zayn’s group could help change this perception and allow “Absolute” to show more of his personality on WWE TV.

Otis & Akira Tozawa

Otis and Akira Tozawa are two of WWE’s most beloved characters but it has been a long while since they’ve felt like an important part of Monday Night Raw.

You would probably have to go back to Chad Gable’s heel turn and feud with Sami Zayn for the last time Otis especially had a lot of momentum behind him, and the fact WWE didn’t follow through with a proper push for the big man is a crime.

While fans don’t want to boo Otis and Tozawa, they’re not doing much of anything on Raw as babyfaces, so a change of approach to their characters may be required.

Much like Gargano is right now, Otis and Tozawa could become gullible cheerleaders for Zayn in exchange for a higher profile spot on the card.

Big Cass

Whether it be his work with Enzo Amore in WWE during his first run in the company, or alongside Ricky Saints in AEW, Big Cass has often worked best as the heavy for smaller talent.

While Zayn is not as small as either of those examples, having a big bodyguard type enforcer in his corner would work perfectly for his current character.

Cass also proved in Chris Jericho’s Learning Tree faction that he has some good comedy chops and he would likely get the chance to show a bit more of that side of his character if he became a Ride or Die.
