Presented by Apple TV
The Formula 1® Gran Premio De La Ciudad De Mexico is overwhelmingly likely to play host to a first-time coronation in 2026 – and is a fittingly beloved and exuberant event for such an occasion.
Kimi Antonelli needs just two points – the equivalent of a ninth-place finish – to become F1 champion aged 20. George Russell and Lewis Hamilton failing to win the race would also do the trick for Antonelli.
But even if the title race is almost ceremonial at this point, there’s every reason to expect a good race from the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez – which always taxes cars in unusual ways and wreaks havoc with the competitive order, due to being F1’s highest-altitude race by a massive margin.
