Tickets are on sale now for the 2026 World Short Course Swimming Championships in Beijing, held at the National Aquatics Center from December 1-6.

Ticket prices for the six-day event range from 180 Chinese yuan to 1,180 Chinese yuan, or about $27 to $177 in US dollars.

In 2022, tickets in Melbourne were split into categories A and B, with A closer to the pool and B a bit farther away. Category A finals tickets cost $60, while prelims were $25; category B tickets were $35 for finals and $17.50 for prelims.

As for Beijing, the most expensive tickets are right near the pool, running about $160 for prelims, as finals tickets are nearly sold out.

World Aquatics also announced the official mascot for the championships, inspired by the sailfish, and the meet slogan: “Break the Waves, Push the Limits.”

“We are grateful to the Beijing 2026 Organizing Committee for their partnership and continued preparations in delivering a memorable experience for fans at the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m),” said World Aquatics President Captain Husain Al Musallam in a press release from World Aquatics. “With Sail and our new slogan, the Championships now has a face and a voice that encapsulates the extraordinary energy that surrounds this event and achievements of the athletes who continue to push the limits. Tickets are on sale, and we invite fans to join us in December for six days of outstanding racing.”
