Since WWE SummerSlam 2026, Chelsea Green has been the reigning WWE Women’s Champion.

Most recently, Green defeated Nikki Bella to retain the title and will now go on to face Liv Morgan to determine this year’s Women’s Crown Jewel Champion at WWE Crown Jewel 2026.

Coming out of this premium live event, Green’s time as champion might not be lasting much longer.

Here are four potential options to become the next WWE Women’s Champion after Chelsea Green.

Blake Monroe

On the October 23 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Blake Monroe defeated Giulia in a Street Fight.

Following this win, Monroe stated that she had her sights on the WWE Women’s Championship.

Since arriving on SmackDown, the former Mariah May has wanted championship gold and even attacked Chelsea Green in her first appearance.

To elevate her up the card, Monroe could be poised to dethrone Green for the WWE Women’s Championship in the near future.

Jade Cargill

WWE Women's Champion Jade Cargill

At the tail end of 2025, Jade Cargill captured the WWE Women’s Championship for the first time.

Cargill went on to hold the title for 169 days before dropping the gold to Rhea Ripley at WWE WrestleMania 42.

While she lost the title months ago, Cargill has remained as one of the top stars in the Friday Night SmackDown women’s division.

With Chelsea Green currently holding the WWE Women’s Championship, it feels like Jade Cargill might just need one opportunity to reclaim the gold for a second time.

Tiffany Stratton

Over the course of 2026, Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton have developed a friendship and partnership.

The two women have had each other’s backs whether it be against The Irresistible Forces or The Judgment Day.

Then at WWE Money In The Bank 2026, Stratton defeated Jacy Jayne, Lash Legend, Lola Vice, Sol Ruca and Roxanne Perez to win the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

Considering the way she cashed in two years ago, it would make sense if Stratton once again cashed in her contract on a friend once again and dethroned Chelsea Green for the WWE Women’s Championship.

Rhea Ripley

WWE Women's Champion Rhea Ripley

At WWE WrestleMania 42, Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to win the WWE Women’s Championship.

This reign was cut short after Ripley suffered a torn meniscus injury in a rematch against Cargill.

This led to Chelsea Green winning a five-way ladder match to become the interim champion at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

Whenever she is back in the fold, Ripley feels likely to want her title back and could be the one to take the WWE Women’s Championship from Green in the near future.
