World Championship Trials

Indiana sophomore Josh Bey has continued his ascent in the 400 IM, winning the event at the US SCM Trials and qualifying for his first senior international team. Clocking a 4:00.05 to win by over 2 seconds, this was a special win for Bey, as he hit these milestones in what was essentially his high school pool in Westmont. When swimming in high school, Bey didn’t see himself as an international threat in the 400 IM, but now he will head to worlds as the USA’s top ranked athlete in it.
