In what has got to be one of the most stacked episodes of WWE NXT in recent memory, the special Wednesday night November 4 show will feature a whole host of main roster talents, title matches and even an appearance from 17-time world champion John Cena.
But could WWE also go that extra mile by also sprinkling in some surprises throughout the broadcast?
Here are three unexpected moments we could see during the stacked November 4 episode of NXT:
The 946 beat down DarkState to send message to The Bloodline
The Monday, November 2 episode of WWE Raw saw The 946’s ranks grow even further, when NXT’s Cruz Montana revealed himself to be the group’s sixth member.
Shawn Michaels confirmed on social media afterwards that Montana had been called up to the main roster, just three months on from officially arriving on NXT. However, he has one last piece of business to handle before heading to Raw full time.
Montana will be taking on Dion Lennox in an unsanctioned match during tonight’s show, with UFC fighter Michael Chandler serving as the special guest enforcer.
But it won’t just be Chandler that could play a role in attempting to “maintain order” as Montana’s new stablemate in The 946 Royce Keys has now teased that he will be in attendance for the show.
With a war against The Bloodline on the horizon, Keys, Montana and the rest of 946 could make a big statement on NXT by wiping out Lennox and his DarkState stablemates Osiris Griffin and Cutler James during tonight’s show; emphatically bringing an end to Montana’s time on the brand.
IYO SKY revealed as Kelani Jordan’s mystery NXT Women’s Title challenger
For the second time in a week, Kelani Jordan will put her WWE NXT Women’s Title on the line during tonight’s NXT, when she takes on a mystery opponent.
The expectation is that a main roster name will be stepping up to “The Standout,” but who will be chosen for that spot?
While she currently has her sights set on Raquel Rodriguez’s WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, IYO SKY seems like a frontrunner given that she and Jordan shared a tense backstage meeting last week.
CM Punk wins WWE NXT Championship to set up Wrestlepalooza rematch
In what will presumably main event this week’s NXT, Grayson Waller will have to put his money where his mouth is when he defends his NXT Championship against former Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk.
Punk hasn’t wrestled in a match on NXT television since the show’s sixth episode all the way back in 2010, so it would be an incredible story if he was to win the NXT Championship during tonight’s show.
While it’s more likely that Kevin Owens may interfere and cost Punk the match given that their ongoing rivalry, Punk dethroning Waller also can’t be ruled out, as it could set up some exciting possibilities for NXT and a certain main roster PLE happening towards the end of the year.
Wrestlepalooza 2026 will be taking place on December 12 from Perth, Australia, aka Grayson Waller’s neck of the woods. So, if Punk wins the NXT Title, it could pave the way for Waller to recapture it from the “Best in the World” in front of his home fans inside the RAC Arena.
