6 New WWE Tag Teams To Debut Soon
WWE
While there have been some notable WWE tag team releases thus far in 2026, the division could soon be set for a rebuild.
Whether its NXT teams that could be poised for a run on main roster, or returning WWE stars from the past and some unlikely alliances, there could be a group of brand new WWE tag teams set to debut soon.
Here are six new WWE tag teams that may be set to debut in the near future.
6. Grayson Waller & Joaquin Wilde
Grayson Waller worked WWE & AAA Worlds Collide in September 2025, while Joaquin Wilde has worked in AAA regularly since WWE’s acquisition
In a combination that could yield a truly obnoxious pair, Grayson Waller could potentially team up with LWO’s Joaquin Wilde.
While Wilde is still in competition with his tag team partner Cruz Del Toro in appearances on Main Event and AAA, adding the delightfully irritating Waller to the crew could be fascinating.
WWE fans might not know that Wilde has a past in both indie wrestling as well as TNA where he spent time with Robert Stone (and Jessie Godderz) in the over the op, The BroMans stable.
With Waller able to bring out the worst in any fellow character, seeing him driving a wedge between the longtime pairing between Wilde & Del Toro could be a lot of fun.
5. Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux
Dorian Van Dux and Sean Legacy are #1 contenders to the NXT Tag Team Championship at the time of writing
One pair from NXT that could make a big statement on the main roster as a duo or in singles action is the team of Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux.
With each bringing a ton of indie wrestling experience front loaded into their characters, they have found themselves joining forces against foes in NXT.
Legacy, a standout from WWE Evolve, and Van Dux, being recruited from the UK indie wrestling scene, their combination of hard hitting and fast action could become a threatening force to either WWE Raw or SmackDown.
While their time in NXT hasn’t been long, the pair have already demonstrated a willingness to take risks on the path to success.
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger are former NXT Tag Team Champions, having won the title from Fraxiom
A team that seems likely to be called up to the main roster at some point is Hank Walker and Tank Ledger.
The pair of ‘blue collar brawlers’ have won fans in NXT over with the charisma in segments outside of the ring as much as their physicality within the bouts.
The former NXT Tag Team Champions have certainly come a long way since their debut in NXT, stacking acclaim not only stateside but internationally as well.
With the duo having a notable turn in Japan, capturing tag team gold in Pro Wrestling NOAH in late 2025, it could be that this Autumn their next big move is to the main roster.
3. Royce Keys & Ricky Saints
Royce Keys and Ricky Saints were members of Team Taz in AEW when they were known as Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks
One former pairing from outside WWE that could be reunited in a new way is that of Royce Keys and Ricky Saints.
However, rather than either Keys turning heel or Saints turning babyface to make their alliance solid, the unlikely duo could stay in their current characters.
Able to loosely reference past history between them and create a circumstance where the duo have to come together, the pair could capture the ‘can they co-exist?’ magic that makes the trope enjoyable.
Whether the pair are a temporary set of unlikely allies or end up catching fire as a fan favorite duo with some precedent set by the likes Daniel Bryan & Kane’s Team Hell No, the pairing could end up catching fire with fans.
2. Birthright
Birthright is made up of William Regal’s son Charlie Dempsey, Fit Finlay’s son Uriah Connors, Brian Pillman’s son Lexis King, Santino Marella’s daughter Arianna Grace, and Grace’s fiancé Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo
A group from NXT that could certainly make an appearance in any number of configuration of new tag teams is Birthright.
Seemingly with Lexis King and Charlie Dempsey being the most compelling duo to hit the main roster together, there could certainly be room for the addition of other faction members Uriah Connors, Arianna Grace or Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo.
Certainly able to challenge the likes of the Creed Brothers or LWO immediately upon arrival, the duo of King & Dempsey could find themselves challenging some major players in the near future.
Bringing together interesting character work with in-ring acumen, the team could be a formidable new force on either WWE Raw or SmackDown.
1. Enzo Amore & Big Cass
Enzo Amore and Big Cass were both released by WWE in 2018
A major new development in the WWE tag team landscape could be the return of familiar faces from the past, Enzo & Big Cass.
With a recent tease of the return of Cass via vignette on WWE TV, it could be that his former tag team partner Enzo Amore isn’t far behind.
While the duo could be re-packaged slightly for a more serious tone, resurrecting their fan favorite and fun entrance and overall gimmick could provide the exact levity the WWE tag team division could use.
Bringing together more serious in-ring abilities with an unserious demeanor, the popular duo could finally capture a tag team championship in WWE after re-debuting.
