Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.
Luke Sullivan from Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, has announced his verbal commitment to swim and study at the University of Georgia beginning in the 2028-29 school year. He confirmed to SwimSwam:
“I am extremely honored and excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic careers at the University of Georgia!
First and foremost, all glory to God for guiding me in this direction and putting me in the position I am in today. I want to thank my family, especially my Mom and Dad, for their endless support and sacrifices throughout my journey. I would also like to thank all of the coaches at UDAC who have pushed me to become the swimmer I am today, as well as my friends and teammates for their continued support. I am incredibly thankful to Coach Neil, Coach Mike, Coach Nate and the entire Georgia family for giving me such an amazing and special opportunity. I am truly honored to be a part of such a prestigious program and cannot wait to see what the future holds! GO DAWGS! ❤️🖤”
A junior at Upper Dublin High School, Sullivan swims for the varsity team and for Upper Dublin Aquatic Club. He has distinguished himself as one of the top IM/breast specialists in the class, for which we named him to the “Best of the Rest” section of our Way Too Early list of top swimming recruits from the high school class of 2028.
As a sophomore at the PIAA 3A State Championships, Sullivan won the 200 IM (1:47.40, a PB) and came in 8th in the 100 breast (55.93). He led off the 3rd-place 200 free relay (21.06, PB) and anchored the 9th-place 400 free relay (45.82), after having notched a PB (47.25) on the leadoff in prelims.
Prior to high school season, he had gone best times in the 50 breast (26.05), 100 breast (55.72), and 200 breast (2:02.97) at various meets in the fall of 2025. He achieved his 200 breast PB at NCAP’s Katie Ledecky Open in December, where he also hit then-PBs in the 50 free (21.37), 100 free (47.37), 100 breast (55.77), 200 IM (1:50.88), and 400 IM (4:02.59).
By the end of short course season, which concluded with the Middle Atlantic Senior Championships, he had dropped 1.7 seconds in the 100 breast, 3.5 in the 200 breast, 6.6 in the 200 IM, and 9.2 in the 400 IM.
Best SCY times:
- 200 IM – 1:47.40
- 400 IM – 3:57.98
- 100 breast – 55.72
- 200 breast – 2:02.97
