The college swimming season is in full swing as we head into October. Some of the top teams in the NCAA have already been busy competing in the College Swimming League (CSL) which has had its first three matches.
SwimSwam’s Pre-Season Power Rankings:
One of the top meets this weekend is the Battle at The Burr as Howard is set to host Georgetown. Over 1,000 fans have been in attendance at the meet the last two years and another large crowd is expected this year.
Texas A&M will kick off its season at Georgia. Georgia already competed in the CSL Match #2. Texas A&M earned an Honorable Mention ranking in SwimSwam’s pre-season power rankings while the Georgia men are ranked #16.
The CSL Match #4 is the top meet of the week as Michigan, Louisville, and Virginia will travel to Tennessee. This is Tennessee’s first match of the CSL season.
Note:Â Many members of the SwimSwam staff have searched websites to compile this list. Meets are occasionally added/removed after this list is compiled. Some schools also have conflicting data ie, one school posts the meet being X date while the other posts Y date.
