Novak Djokovic is set to make his return to the Basel Open for the first time in 15 years.
Djokovic has received a wildcard for the ATP 500 event and will seek to win his 103rd ATP Tour title later this month.
The Serbian star still has a lot to play for this year; after all, he is fighting against the likes of Rafael Jodar and Alex de Minaur for an ATP Finals place.
If Djokovic were to win the 2026 Basel Open, the Serb would certainly improve his chances of qualifying while also significantly increasing his prize money total for 2026.
The prize money for the 2026 Basel Open compared to 2011
In 2011 – when Djokovic made his last appearance at the Basel Open – the Swiss tournament offered a total prize pot [across singles and doubles] of €1,308,100.
