Inter and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly ‘reached a verbal agreement’ over the transfer of Argentine defender Cristian Romero. According to ESPN Argentina via Calciomercato, Spurs have accepted the Serie A champions’ €40 million bid for their captain.
Despite completing the signing of John Stones, who left Manchester City as a free agent at the end of last season, Inter are looking to add another center-back to Cristian Chivu’s star-studded squad.
