This coming Saturday (October 31) will see NXT host its annual Halloween Havoc premium live event from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Leading into the event there has been a lot of speculation regarding the show potentially being the last for two of NXT’s longest-tenured names: Tony D’Angelo and Kelani Jordan.
While D’Angelo has recently spoken about a potential move to Raw or SmackDown, Jordan’s call-up seems to be in the works, with WWE recently showcasing “The Standout” on Monday Night Raw as a way to introduce her to the main roster audience.
With that in mind, we could be seeing Jordan make her full-time switch to the main roster after Halloween Havoc. Here are two potential plans for her main roster call-up:
Challenge IYO SKY for Women’s Intercontinental Championship
Following on from her participation in a Money in the Bank qualifying match on the September 14 Raw, WWE this week gave fans another chance to see what Kelani Jordan is all about.
Jordan was shown in the crowd as a part of promotion for Halloween Havoc, but she also had the chance to get up in IYO SKY’s face in a backstage segment – which eventually aired during the following night’s NXT (see above).
This nicely sets Jordan up for her first feud on Raw, and that feud could get a whole lot more interesting if “The Genius of the Sky” manages to dethrone Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Intercontinental Title.
SKY managed to pin the champion on Monday, which would presumably give her the next opportunity at the gold in the near future. If SKY wins the title before Jordan gets called up, we may very well see the NXT star step up as her first challenger.
Joins her husband Carmelo Hayes in The 946
With Jordan being shown on WWE Raw on a few occasions now, it seems likelier that she will be heading to the red brand than SmackDown.
If Jordan does get signed to Raw she will be joining her now husband Carmelo Hayes, who arrived on the brand during the October 12 episode when he aligned with Royce Keys’ 946 faction.
While it will be great for Jordan and Hayes to be able to work on the same show together for the first time since NXT in 2024, WWE could go that extra mile and pair them up on-screen together as well.
Jordan doesn’t make the most sense for 946 admittedly – and they do already have their first female member in Jaida Parker – but with the faction being in such a prominent spot, she could do a lot worse than arrive on Raw as the latest 946 member.
