After losing the AEW World Championship at Dynamite Beach Break, MJF has been absent from the company’s television in recent weeks.
This has led many to question what Maxwell Jacob Friedman could possibly be doing at the upcoming AEW All In London 2026 pay-per-view.
Considering this event is mere weeks away, there is not much time for the promotion to set up a high-profile matchup for ‘The Devil’ at Wembley Stadium.
Here are seven potential MJF AEW All In London 2026 plans.
7. Final Match With Darby Allin
At AEW Double Or Nothing 2026, MJF defeated Darby Allin to retain the AEW World Championship.
Since then, MJF and Allin have still showcased that there is no love lost between the two former AEW World Champions.
The rivalry between Darby and MJF has spanned well over five years in AEW and goes all the way back to 2018 on the independent scene.
MJF facing Darby Allin in Wembley Stadium could prove to be a featured bout on the AEW All In London 2026 card on August 30.
6. Rekindling Rivalry With Chris Jericho
Dating back to 2020, MJF formed an alliance with Chris Jericho that led to his joining the Inner Circle stable.
However, MJF just used the faction to learn what he needed to create his own group called The Pinnacle and went on to feud with Jericho for the next year.
After their last meeting at AEW All Out 2021, MJF and Jericho have not stepped inside the squared circle for a singles match since then.
MJF rekindling his rivalry with Jericho in time for AEW All In London 2026 would be a major feud for the road to Wembley Stadium on August 30.
5. Dream Match With Mick Foley
Dating back to his time on the independent scene, MJF has talked about and teased a potential showdown with Mick Foley.
According to reports, the two men had originally discussed doing a match together several years ago, but it never happened due to Foley’s health.
Foley signing with All Elite Wrestling has opened the door for a multitude of possibilities moving forward.
Following his AEW World Title loss, MJF should be involved in one of the biggest matches at All In London 2026 and a bout with Mick Foley would fit the bill very well.
4. Facing Swerve Strickland For The First Time In AEW
While both men are massive stars on the AEW roster, MJF and Swerve Strickland have never faced each other in a singles meeting in the company.
MJF and Swerve have crossed paths on more than one occasion, including the four-way main event for the AEW World Title at Worlds End 2025.
Considering both former AEW World Champions do not have an announced match for All In London 2026, it would be fitting to hold their first singles meeting in the promotion at the biggest event of the year.
Swerve and MJF returning to set up a bout would make some sense and put them both in the spotlight on the AEW All In London 2026 card.
3. Unfinished Business With ‘Hangman’ Adam Page
Back at AEW Revolution 2026, MJF defeated ‘Hangman’ Adam Page in a Texas Death Match to retain the AEW World Championship.
Thanks to this loss, Page can no longer challenge for the world title ever again. This also led to ‘Hangman’ being absent from AEW TV over the past few months.
On the July 11 episode of AEW Collision, Page made his return to the company and reiterated that he promised to keep his word about never challenge for the gold ever again.
Wanting to start his redemption tour and getting back to the top, ‘Hangman’ may need to avenge his loss to MJF on the biggest stage for All Elite Wrestling at AEW All In London 2026.
2. Sneaking His Way Into The Kenny Omega vs. Will Ospreay AEW World Title Match
At the AEW All In London 2026 pay-per-view, Kenny Omega is scheduled to defend the AEW World Championship against Will Ospreay.
This is due to Omega defeating MJF to win the AEW World Title on the July 8 Beach Break special of Dynamite.
Since this loss, Maxwell Jacob Friedman has been absent from AEW programming with no signs of when he will return to the company.
MJF returning and finding his way into the AEW World Title Match against both Omega and Ospreay could make for one of the most star studded PPV main events in the history of the company.
1. Finally Settling The Score With Andrade El Idolo
At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026, Team Briscoe defeated Team DCMJF in the Death Door’s steel cage match thanks in large part to Andrade El Idolo turning on MJF and the Don Callis Family.
Since then, El Idolo has had to deal with DCF, while Maxwell Jacob Friedman told Andrade that he will never see him coming when he gets his revenge.
After El Idolo’s win over Mark Davis to win the AEW National Title at Redemption, MJF could return to either attack his rival or even cost Andrade the gold.
This could set the stage for a long awaited showdown between MJF and Andrade that has all the makings of a showstealer at AEW All In London 2026.
