At WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night One, Fatal Influence defeated Paige and The Bella Twins in a six-woman tag team match.
After the bout, The Bella Twins turned on Paige with a two-on-one beatdown with Nikki Bella stating that their former Total Divas castmate tried to take her spot.
Now that The Bellas have turned heel, fans could see other stars on the WWE roster turning heel coming off the heels of “The Biggest Party of the Summer.”
Here are six more potential WWE heel turns after SummerSlam 2026.
6. Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at SummerSlam 2025.
On the July 10 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Jade Cargill defeated Alexa Bliss. After the match, Cargill had Michin and B-Fab hold Charlotte Flair and make her watch as she broke Alexa’s arm with a steel chair.
Since then, Flair has been on a mission to get revenge for her best friend on Cargill and her crew.
While it was definitely Cargill, Michin and B-Fab who were responsible for this attack, Bliss might hold some animosity towards Flair for her injury due to her being the victim of her feud.
Bliss returning to betray Charlotte Flair could be a shocking moment that leads to a personal rivalry between the two friends.
5. Matt Cardona
Matt Cardona returned to WWE after a six year absence in January 2026.
Re-signing with WWE in January 2026, Matt Cardona has been trying to reestablish himself back on the roster.
On Friday Night SmackDown, Cardona was being highlighted when he first returned, but he has been an inconsistent figure on the blue brand in recent months.
Considering recent rumors have indicated WWE may think about bringing back Zack Ryder as his moniker, Cardona might view a heel turn as his last ditch chance to make this second run work without going to some of his older characters.
Cardona becoming a bitter veteran looking for a second lease on life in the company would be interesting and draw more attention for him after WWE SummerSlam 2026.
4. Ilja Dragunov
Ilja Dragunov captured the United States Championship upon his return from injury back in October
Another WWE star who has not been featured on the company’s television in recent months is Ilja Dragunov.
Despite making his way back to the company in October 2025, Dragunov was instantly given the opportunity to garner the spotlight with his United States Championship Open Challenge after beating Sami Zayn for the title.
‘The Mad Dragon’ is someone who is capable of contributing a whole lot more than he has in the past few months.
Dragunov turning heel after WWE SummerSlam 2026 might be the only way to give him an outlet for his recent frustrations and bring out a different side of his personality.
3. Royce Keys
Since coming to WWE at the start of 2026, Royce Keys has been climbing the ladder and getting some big opportunities.
The former Powerhouse Hobbs has found himself on the opposite end of a war with The Bloodline. However, he has a ton of history with the Samoan family dynasty that would make sense for a reunion.
Considering his history with Jacob Fatu in particular, Keys could have “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” mentality towards The Bloodline sooner rather than later.
Putting their recent differences aside, Keys could reunite with Fatu and have an invite into The Bloodline where they might run roughshod over the rest of WWE moving forward.
2. Solo Sikoa
Speaking of Royce Keys, he teamed with Solo Sikoa and LA Knight to defeat The Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu and The Usos in a six-man tag team match at WWE SummerSlam 2026.
Sikoa has showcased himself to be a more than capable babyface who uses charisma and humor to gain the favor of the fans.
Now getting positive reactions from the crowd, Solo could stay the course and quickly become one of WWE’s most popular babyfaces.
However, Sikoa’s invite back to The Bloodline might be too much to deny and see him reunite with his family as a heel once more.
1. Cody Rhodes
At WWE SummerSlam 2026, CM Punk defeated Cody Rhodes to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
This result only came to be after Randy Orton made his return for the first time since WrestleMania 42 and delivered a RKO to Rhodes with Punk outside of the ring.
Feeling frustrated by his recent treatment, fans could see ‘The American Nightmare’ snap after WWE SummerSlam 2026.
Rhodes finally turning heel feels like more than a decade in the making and something that fans have been waiting a very long time for.
