On October 19 WWE NXT live event from Gatineau, Quebec, Kevin Owens made his return to the brand to compete for the live fans in attendance.

This marked the latest example of main roster talent appearing on NXT live events over the past few months.

From IYO SKY to Bayley, these talents have helped to bolster NXT house shows outside of Florida recently and could lead to others following in their footsteps.

Here are four WWE Raw and SmackDown stars to potentially appear on a future NXT live event.

Finn Balor

In early 2026, Finn Balor made the move from Monday Night Raw to Friday Night SmackDown.

Since then, Balor has been featured amongst the Undisputed WWE Championship picture.

There is an argument that Balor is the most prolific NXT Champion of all time and someone who has a legacy on the brand that stands above most.

Balor making a special appearance at a NXT live event would feel special and like a homecoming for one of the brand’s greatest stars.

Lyra Valkyria

Another Irish-born star who made a name for themselves on WWE NXT is Lyra Valkyria.

During her time on the brand, Valkyria was a former NXT Women’s Champion.

Since making the jump to the main roster, Lyra became the first ever WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion and a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.

In what would be a return to NXT, Valkyria can showcase her new deranged and unhinged character at a future live event.

GUNTHER

GUNTHER is someone who made the NXT UK brand worth watching when he arrived in WWE.

Over a 870-day reign, ā€œThe Ring Generalā€ became the face of the brand and established himself as a dominant force.

Then, GUNTHER made the move to the WWE NXT brand and only stayed for a few months before getting called up to the main roster.

GUNTHER making an appearance at a future NXT live event would be fitting and could give one of their stars a hard hitting match to really show their worth.

Seth Rollins

Another WWE top star that has quite the history on NXT is Seth Rollins.

Back in 2012, Rollins was the face of the brand when he became the first ever NXT Champion.

While it was only a few months later that he made his main roster debut, there is no denying Rollins’ impact on the brand to this day.

Gearing up for his return to WWE TV, it could serve Rollins well to work some ring rust off by appearing on a NXT live event himself in the near future.
