A new WWE Intercontinental Champion was crowned on the November 2 edition of Monday Night Raw, in New York’s Barclay’s Center.
During this show, Ethan Page finally claimed the title he has been vying after since his main roster debut, defeating Chad Gable to win the Intercontinental Championship.
While there has been some speculation about what’s next for Chad Gable, there have also been rumors swirling about Page’s IC Title reign, and how it will end.
With there being numerous prospects who could become Intercontinental Champion in the coming months, some stand out as wrestlers who it’d make sense to see dethrone Ethan Page specifically.
Here are three stars who we could see win the Intercontinental Champion after Ethan Page.
Rusev
While Ethan Page and Rusev have teamed together on a number of occasions this year, a lot could change in the coming months.
Rusev was actually instrumental in Page earning his first Intercontinental Title shot following his main roster call-up, with Page pinning then-Intercontinental Champion Penta while teaming with the Bulgarian Brute on May 4.
With Rusev recently returning to the ring during the Hawaii live event tour – and notably teaming with Page against Chad Gable & Rey Mysterio on October 17 – we could see Rusev eventually issue a challenge to Page, now that dynamics have changed.
With Rusev yet to hold gold since returning to WWE in 2025, it would make a lot of sense for the Intercontinental Championship to be on his radar.
Rey Fenix
On the October 5 Raw episode, AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix defeated Ethan Page in non-title action.
With Ethan Page now holding a major singles title, we could see Fenix attempt to win the Intercontinental Championship, already having scored a win over the current titleholder.
With both stars being champions, a title vs title match could take place, especially as Page previously expressed interest in returning to AAA.
Following his previous feuds with Penta and Rey Mysterio, Rey Fenix could become the next luchador to lock horns with Ethan Page.
Je’Von Evans
Between NXT, Raw and AAA, Ethan Page has faced off against Je’Von Evans on numerous ocassions.
With Evans defeating Page on the August 3 Raw episode, and both Evans and Page challenging for Chad Gable’s Intercontinental Championship on the October 16 house show in Honolulu, Hawaii, Je’Von appears poised to challenge, and potentially dethrone, “All-Ego”.
A Je’Von Evans Intercontinental Title win would make WWE history, with the 22 year-old still able to become the youngest IC Champion in the history of the company.
Jeff Hardy currently holds this record, having won the title from Triple H at 23 years and 7 months old in April 2001, meaning Je’Von Evans would have to become Intercontinental Champion before December 9, 2027 to achieve this feat.
