Ahead of next year’s WrestleMania 43, reports have circulated that Oba Femi is expected to challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Since defeating Bronson Reed at WWE Crown Jewel 2026, fans have not seen Femi in recent weeks
With months remaining before Mania, WWE should have some plans lined up for “The Ruler” ahead of “The Show of Shows.”
Here are some potential Oba Femi WWE future plans before WrestleMania 43.
Win the John Cena Classic
Back at WWE Backlash 2026, John Cena appeared to announce the introduction of the John Cena Classic.
Described as a tournament voted on by the fans, it will see main roster and NXT stars doing battle for supremacy.
Considering this will be a premier tournament that will garner plenty of attention, having Oba Femi enter the fray would be interesting.
With his overwhelming popularity, Femi feels like someone who has everything it takes to win the John Cena Classic tournament.
Rematch with Bron Breakker
At WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event, Oba Femi defeated Bron Breakker via DQ thanks to interference from the returning Bronson Reed.
This led to Femi transitioning to a feud with Reed directly, but left the story with Breakker unfinished.
Oba then went on to defeat Reed in a singles match at the WWE Money In The Bank 2026 premium live event.
While he stated that he was done with The Vision, Femi could be on track for a rematch against Breakker down the road ahead of WrestleMania 43.
Showdown with Jacob Fatu
At WWE Night of Champions 2026, Oba Femi defeated Jey Uso to win the King of the Ring tournament finals.
This marked the first time that Femi had squared off with anyone from The Bloodline stable.
Ahead of a potential showdown with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 43, Femi could face off with other Bloodline members.
Femi going toe-to-toe with someone like Jacob Fatu could make for a battle of behemoths that would be tantalizing to see.
Win the Royal Rumble
While his King of the Ring win guaranteed him a shot at the world title of his choosing, Oba Femi has yet to get an opportunity at either top prize in WWE.
This might lead to Femi once again entering the Men’s Royal Rumble Match in 2027.
After his breakout performance in the 2026 Rumble and his dominance this year, it would make sense if Femi came into this match as a favorite to win.
Oba Femi winning the Men’s Rumble seems inevitable and could set the course for his encounter with Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 43.
