Pole Match Added To WWE SummerSlam 2026

A pole match has now been added to the card for the WWE SummerSlam 2026 premium live event taking place this weekend on August 1 and 2.
Throughout the years in WWE, various pole matches have taken place – a match that sees an item placed on a pole in the corner of the ring, and the winner is the first participant to take possession of the item from the pole.
That stipulation has now been added to a match at SummerSlam.
On WWE Raw tonight, Joe Hendry and Danhausen performed a concert including a new song mashing together both of their catchphrases – I Believe That You Are Cursed.
However, their performance was interrupted by World Boxing Council Welterweight Champion Ryan Garcia along with Judgment Day members Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh.
Garcia, Mysterio and McDonagh laid out Hendry, Danhausen, and the minihausens who had joined them in the ring.

Later during the show in Danhausen’s lab backstage, WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce checked on Danhausen and ordered him to hand back the human monies that he ‘stole’ from Judgment Day a number of weeks ago.
Danhausen refused to do so, but instead came up with a proposal – to put the human monies on a pole.
Pearce agreed and declared that the WWE SummerSlam match between Danhausen and Mysterio is now a Human Monies on a Pole match.
WWE confirmed earlier today that Danhausen vs Mysterio will take place at SummerSlam night two, which is on Sunday, August 2 – a night that also features Roman Reigns defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins, and the crowning of an Interim WWE Women’s Champion in a five-woman ladder match with Rhea Ripley still out injured.
