Following AEW Fright Night Dynamite, Queen Aminata is the new TBS Champion.
This felt like a long awaited victory for Aminata and will hopefully lead to a significant run with the gold for the Queen.
This may depend on who will be the first opponent for Aminata following this massive win.
Here are five potential options to become the first TBS Championship challenger for Queen Aminata.
Persephone
On the October 28 AEW Fright Night Dynamite, Queen Aminata defeated Persephone to win the TBS Championship.
This ended Perse’s TBS Championship reign that started at AEW All In London 2026 after a 59-day reign.
Over the course of this run, it felt like Persephone had established herself to the AEW audience.
While she is still the CMLL World Women’s Champion, Persephone may want to reclaim her double champion status by regaining the TBS Title sometime soon.
Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.
At AEW All In London 2026, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. made her return to the company for the first time in nearly two year to help Persephone defeat Maya World to win the TBS Championship.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion has since been aligned with Persephone and helping her during this recent reign.
However, Perse losing the title should mean that Baker may go after the title herself now.
Baker challenging Queen Aminata would be an interesting title bout for the new champion in the near future.
Maya World
On the October 21 edition of AEW Dynamite, Queen Aminata defeated Maya World to become the number one contender for the AEW TBS Championship.
World recently made her in-ring return after being on the shelf with an injury for over a month.
Earlier this year, Maya captured her first singles title in All Elite Wrestling, winning the TBS Championship from Hikaru Shida at AEW Redemption 2026.
After failing to beat Aminata in their number one contender’s bout, World could step up to be the next challenger for the title she lost at All In London 2026.
Dani Luna
At AEW All Out 2026, Dani Luna made her debut with the company by answering Persephone’s TBS Championship open challenge.
During her time on the independent scene and in TNA Wrestling, Luna is someone who felt like a fit in a place like All Elite Wrestling.
Since signing, Luna has been a fixture in the AEW TBS Championship scene, which should lead to another opportunity at the gold.
Luna facing Queen Aminata for the first time in AEW should call back to their rivalry in Deadlock Pro Wrestling and deliver some hard hitting action along the way.
Thekla
In 2025, Thekla made her AEW debut and immediately became one of the most featured stars in the women’s division.
One of her first rivals in the company was Queen Aminata with the two ladies beating the hell out of each other at every turn.
“The Toxic Spider” still feels like she has some unfinished business with Aminata to this day.
Now that Aminata is the new AEW TBS Champion, it should be Thekla who steps up as a future challenger for the title.
