With WWE Money in the Bank in the rearview mirror, Roman Reigns’ schedule has been confirmed up until December.
With WWE officially announcing that Reigns will face Sami Zayn at Crown Jewel, the OTC has also been confirmed for Survivor Series, which will emanate from Daikin Park in Texas on November 28.
The current World Heavyweight Champion has been part of numerous high-profile matches at Survivor Series events in recent years, from champ vs champ encounters to WarGames battles.
Here are Roman Reigns’ five most recent Survivor Series appearances, ahead of the 2026 premium live event.
2020
Survivor Series 2020 took place during WWE’s ThunderDome era, with faces on screens replacing the live crowd during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to WarGames being associated with the PLE, the Survivor Series tradition was for the two world champions to face off against one another, basically what now happens at Crown Jewel.
The Universal Champion at the time, Roman Reigns squared off against WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.
With the Tribal Chief victorious on this occasion, this match would be the first chapter in Drew McIntyre’s ongoing feud with the Bloodline faction.
2021
With Reigns still holding the Universal Title come Survivor Series 2021, the Tribal Chief faced off against a popular star at that November’s show.
Reigns battled Big E, who had won the WWE Championship after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Bobby Lashley on the September 13, 2021 Raw episode.
Roman was ultimately victorious, defeating Big E after almost 22 minutes of action.
While the duo were involved in multi-man tag-team matches following this, this match marked the final time the FCW alumni faced off in singles action, ahead of Big E suffering a career-ending neck injury in March 2022.
2022
Survivor Series officially became “Survivor Series: WarGames” in 2022, with the stipulation being brought to the main roster that November.
In the main event of Survivor Series: WarGames 2022, Roman Reigns teamed with The Usos, Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn to defeat Sheamus, Ridge Holland, Butch/Pete Dunne, Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens.
It was during this match that Sami Zayn proved his allegiance to the Bloodline, preventing Kevin Owens from getting the three-count for his team and delivering a low blow to his former friend.
While Reigns wouldn’t compete at Survivor Series 2023, he did return for the 2024 WarGames bout.
2024
Roman Reigns lead an OG Bloodline side at Survivor Series 2024, teaming with The Usos, Sami Zayn, and CM Punk, the latter of whom was employed by Paul Heyman.
This squad faced off against Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline, with Sikoa captaining a team consisting of himself, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu and Bronson Reed.
In the closing moments of the bout, Sikoa rejected Reigns’ embrace, leading to every member of the Tribal Chief’s team hitting Solo with their signature moves ahead of Reigns scoring the pinfall.
This is also infamously the match which saw Bronson Reed break his ankle with a Tsunami attempt from the top of the cage.
2025
The most recent Survivor Series event at the time of writing was also headlined by the men’s WarGames match, however this occasion saw the Tribal Chief fall short.
On November 29, 2025, Reigns sided with The Usos, CM Punk and Cody Rhodes to battle Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Logan Paul.
The latter team was victorious after a hooded assailant took out CM Punk with a Stomp. While this teased Seth Rollins’ return, the assailant was ultimately revealed to be Austin Theory, who joined The Vision soon after.
