As if the Wednesday night episode of WWE NXT wasn’t stacked enough, going head-to-head with AEW Dynamite, Royce Keys has teased a role.

The 946 introduced its latest addition on this week’s episode of WWE Raw, with Cruz Montana officially moving up to the main roster, taking down Roman Reigns in his debut.

With an episode of NXT that features John Cena, Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk, Royce Keys has suggested he could also be involved:

Main roster mania

It’s perhaps no surprise that WWE would want to pull out the big guns when it comes to counterprogramming AEW Dynamite, and that’s the case here.

A result of a move from Tuesday night due to midterm election coverage, John Cena’s appearance will likely see him add a star from NXT to the John Cena Classic, while Cody Rhodes will award the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic trophy to the winner of that tournament. For CM Punk, he will be in action, facing Grayson Waller for the NXT Championship.

Meanwhile, AEW Dynamite will feature spectacle that is the Blood and Guts match, with the top stars from its men’s and women’s roster getting in on the action.

The 946 are coming

With the focus of The 946 on WWE Raw being The Bloodline, it now appears that the faction is going to branch out with a potential appearance on NXT.

In a recent post on X, Royce Keys made his intention clear, stating:

“#WWENXT. Tomorrow night. Ain’t nobody safe.”

With NXT fast approaching, Keys warning may be enough to unsettle members of the brand’s roster.

Targeting the NXT roster

Coming off the back of his victory over Charlie Dempsey in the Falls Count Anywhere match at Halloween Havoc, Zilla Fatu is not featured in the preview for this week’s episode, nor is BirthRight, for that matter.

Fatu is a real-life member of The Bloodline and would be the most likely the most likely target for The 946. With the prominence of Fatu on NXT programming, it would be surprising if he was left off the show entirely.

Kelani Jordan defends the NXT Women’s Championship against a “mystery opponent”, with the recent addition of Jaida Parker to The 946 perhaps allowing the Raw star to correct the loss to the champion in her final match on the traditionally Tuesday night show.

Indeed, there’s always the possibility of adding a recruit from the women’s roster to The 946, leading to Parker being able to function as a tag team, with Michin and B-Fab and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on their radar.

A new recruit

With Royce Keys being influential in the structure of The 946, it’s entirely possible the WWE Raw is heading to NXT to scout a new addition to the faction.

DarkState could be a target for such a recruitment drive, with Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, and Cutler James as members. For Griffin, the 6′ 3″ powerhouse would be imposing presence in an already dangerous faction. Lennox could be a fit, although a move from a leader role to a membership role may be a challenge for the star. At two inches taller than Griffin, James would also cut quite the sight in The 946. Collectively, DarkState have held the NXT Tag Team Championship twice.

A show of dominance

The whole “ain’t nobody safe” mantra works well on WWE Raw, with The Bloodline in their sights, and stretching that to NXT just adds to the nature of The 946.

Perhaps it shouldn’t stop there, though, with The 946 rolling into SmackDown when the urge takes them, uninvited and threatening to disrupt proceedings on the blue brand.

Beyond that, The 946 in AAA is a distinct possibility, unleashing a wave of destruction in Mexico, particularly with Worlds Collide approaching this December.
