After a very well received AEW All In London pay-per-view on Sunday, all eyes will be on the September 2 episode of Dynamite from the Credit Union of Texas Events Center in Allen, Texas.
With more eyes potentially on the product following All In, AEW should capitalize and make Dynamite a show to remember.
Here are three potential surprises we could see at tonight’s AEW Dynamite after All In London 2026.
Andrade El Idolo Announces AEW World Title Contract Cash-In
Andrade El Idolo entered first in the Casino Gauntlet match at AEW All In London, and won the whole thing.
At AEW All In London, Andrade El Idolo outlasted the Casino Gauntlet field to guarantee himself a future shot at the AEW World Championship.
With Will Ospreay now the champion for the very first time, it will be interesting to see what approach Andrade takes with his contract; will he sit on it and bide his time? Or will he look to catch Ospreay in a weakened state by cashing in as soon as possible?
Fans will not be expecting ‘The Aerial Assassin’ to be dropping his newly won gold anytime soon, but logically Andrade should be looking for a swift cash-in; even if he must allow Ospreay a week to prepare for a title match, rather than being able to catch him totally off guard in a Money in the Bank-esque fashion.
Whether it be for a title match on the following week’s September 9 episode of AEW Dynamite, or potentially All Out on September 26, Andrade El Idolo could ensure that he’s first in line for Ospreay’s gold.
The Elite & The New Level Come Face-To-Face
One of the biggest moments at AEW All In London came during its opening moments, as The New Level (fka The New Day in WWE) made their debut during the Trios Roulette match.
Along with Swerve Strickland, Kofi and Austin Creed won that match to become the new AEW World Trios Champions, and on The New Level’s first AEW Dynamite they, and Swerve will defend their gold against The Rascalz.
This first outing should be a fairly routine first defense for Swerve, Kofi and Creed, but bigger plans could soon be on the horizon for them in AEW.
After taking some playful shots at The Elite at All In, The New Level and Swerve could find themselves face-to-face with Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks at some point during the show. Even if it’s just briefly and during a backstage segment, it could plant the seeds for what will be one of AEW’s biggest programs of the year.
Ilja Dragunov Debuts
Ilja Dragunov exited WWE at the end of his contract in August 2026.
Along with The New Level, one other debut on the top of AEW fans’ wish lists was that of former WWE United States Champion Ilja Dragunov.
‘The Mad Dragon’ departed WWE at the end of his contract two weeks ago, and should be a free agent immediately, rather than having to serve a non-compete for a period of time.
If he is in fact free and clear to go, Dragunov’s arrival in AEW could come as soon as tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
Dragunov feels like a perfect fit for AEW in every way, and will no doubt have a long line of potential challengers in Tony Khan’s company should he become All Elite.
