With last week’s October 19 episode of WWE Raw closing out with a frantic Roman Reigns-led brawl between The Bloodline and The 946, tonight’s show will have its work cut out for it to bring the same amount of excitement.
While Reigns isn’t advertised for the show, there is plenty else happening elsewhere on the card, with four matches announced for the show as of the time of writing.
Here are three surprises we could see take place throughout the October 26 episode of WWE Raw:
Bayley loses to Lyra Valkyria AGAIN amid WWE future uncertainty
One of the biggest bouts announced for tonight’s Raw is the long-awaited third instalment in the feud between Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
Fans would have to go back to February 10, 2025 episode of Raw for the one, and only time Bayley has beaten Valkyria on TV, with the Irish star getting one over on “The Role Model” in their two meetings since the breakup of their tag team in June.
Typically WWE stars will trade wins before eventually meeting in a rubber match to close out the feud, but with Valkyria already scoring two victories over her former friend, it feels like Bayley surely has to score the win here.
If Bayley isn’t renewing her WWE contract – which is rumored to be expiring soon – WWE may be solely using her to put Valkyria over before she leaves. While it remains to be seen what the future holds for Bayley, another loss would only add more fuel to the fire regarding a potential departure.
Jacob Fatu returns in Roman Reigns’ absence to fight off The 946
As mentioned, Roman Reigns is not advertised to appear in Fresno, CA for the October 26 WWE Raw.
This means any advancement in the feud between The Bloodline and 946 will be without “The OTC” – an issue when you look at the current numbers of each group.
Without Reigns and the absent Jacob Fatu, The Bloodline only have The Usos and Solo Sikoa, whereas 946 have Royce Keys, Lucien Price, Bronco Nima and Carmelo Hayes (with Jaida Parker also around as a difference maker in her own right).
That means, unless WWE are going to take a week’s break from The 946 and Bloodline feud, the latter will need Jacob Fatu back in their corner for tonight’s episode.
The Vision confront Paul Heyman
On the October 12 episode of WWE Raw, Paul Heyman attempted to form a new working relationship with Oba Femi, only for “The Ruler” to decline.
This has left Heyman in a rather sticky situation, as he is still (sort of) aligned with The Vision, who have had a lot of issues with Femi over the past few months.
There was ZERO follow up to this on last week’s Raw, so it’s unclear whether WWE are moving The Vision and Heyman into different directions permanently, or whether they will get around to addressing Heyman going behind the group’s back to align with Femi.
We should see – at the very least – The Vision confront Heyman backstage, but realistically we should see them part ways with “The Oracle” by force given how he’s acted towards them throughout this year.
