Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Middleburg, Florida’s Noah Stotler has announced his intention to swim and study at the University of Tennessee beginning in the 2028-29 school year. His older sister Sara Stotler was a 10-time All-American for the Lady Vols; she graduated after the 2024-25 season.

He wrote on social media:

“I am incredibly excited and blessed to announce my verbal commitment to pursue my academic and athletic career at the University of Tennessee! Above all, I would like to thank God for giving me the ability to do what I love. None of this would be possible without my family and friends, who have always supported and encouraged me throughout my life. I would also like to thank Coach Alexis, along with the Bolles coaching staff, Coach Kyle, and the rest of the coaches who have helped me become the swimmer I am today. Finally, a huge thanks to Coach Matt, and the entire Tennessee coaching staff, for giving me this amazing opportunity. GBO!!!”

Stotler swims for Clay High School, where he is a junior, and the Bolles School Sharks club team. A free/fly specialist, he is our pick for the #7 swimmer on our Way Too Early list of top boys’ recruits from the high school class of 2028.

As a sophomore at the FHSAA Class 3A State Championships last fall, Stotler won the 200 free (1:36.74) and placed 5th in the 100 fly (49.52), earning PBs in both events. A month later, he competed at Winter Juniors East and clocked lifetime bests in the 100 free (45.15), 200 fly (1:47.18), and 200 IM (1:53.16). He came in 5th in the 200 free (1:36.86) and 17th in the 200 fly.

Stotler whittled down all those times in March at the Florida Swimming Senior Short Course Championships. He won the 200 free, was runner-up in the 200 fly, and finished 3rd in the 100 free, 5th in the 100 fly, and 8th in the 100 back and took home new times in the 100 free (44.67), 200 free (1:35.43), 100 back (49.80), 100 fly (48.44), and 200 fly (1:44.90). All told, he dropped 5.4 seconds in the 200 free, 1.8 in the 100 free, 5.5 in the 200 fly, and 1.3 in the 100 fly last season.

Stotler had an impressive summer, as well, winding up at U.S. National Championships where he competed in the 100/200/400 free and 100/200 fly. He finaled in the 200 free (22nd place) and put up lifetime bests in the 200 free (1:49.04), 400 free (4:00.22), and 100 fly (54.53).

With times that are already very close to what it took to score at 2026 SEC Championships (1:44.80 in the 200 fly and 1:34.48 in the 200 free got second swims), Stotler is a big pick-up for the Tennessee men’s roster.

Best SCY times:

  • 200 fly – 1:44.90
  • 100 fly – 48.44
  • 200 free – 1:35.43
  • 100 free – 44.67

Stotler is the 3rd verbal commitment to the Vols’ class of 2032. He will join divers Evan Kerim (#2 diver in the class) and Erik Passerone (from Switzerland) in Knoxville in 2028.
