The Undertaker Absent From Recent WWE AAA Event, Replacement Revealed

A WWE name reportedly took charge of a recent AAA event in replacement of The Undertaker.
While talent like El Grande Americano and Dominik Mysterio have shone in AAA throughout 2026, behind the scenes, The Undertaker has been pulling the strings as an executive producer and working alongside with Jeremy Borash in creative.
Undertakerās work in creative has been praised by the likes of AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio and Chad Gable, however, according to a new report, the promotion had to be placed into Jeremy Borashās hands for the July 25 Verano De Escandalo event last weekend.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Undertaker was forced to miss the show due to a family commitment, with Borash running the show in his absence.
Shortly after WWE took over Mexican promotion AAA in April 2025, it was reported that Borash would be working behind the scenes in a creative capacity.
Borashās influence since then has been felt on AAAās product, with it recently being revealed that the former TNA name was behind the reforming of Los Perros Del Mal.
