The WWE NXT roster has undergone plenty of changes lately, with the likes of Lola Vice, Jaida Parker and OTM (Lucien Price & Bronco Nima) all departing for Raw.

In the wake of these departures – and more potentially coming before the end of the year – we could see some new faces added to NXT in order to ensure there’s not too many gaps on the roster.

Here are two WWE stars to potentially be added to the NXT roster:

Chazz “Starboy” Hall

The WWE ID program has certainly been a very mixed bag since being introduced in 2024. While the likes of Vanity Project, EK Prosper and Sean Legacy can be seen as success stories, many more names have been cut or chosen to drop out, rather than being signed to NXT deals.

We have seen that recently with Laynie Luck, Marcus Mathers and Cappuccino Jones; three surprising departures, and departures that have casted even more doubt on whether the program is a good thing or not.

Although there has been many big departures, there are still plenty of reasons to be optimistic as well; Chazz “Starboy” Hall being one of them.

The former Starboy Charlie has impressed in Evolve and most recently NXT when he teamed with Mini Vikingo in the 2026 Dusty Rhodes  Tag Team Classic.

While he’s still on a WWE ID deal, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him become the next name to be promoted to a full-time contract with NXT.

Kiana James

Moving from the main roster back to NXT can be viewed as a demotion, but there has been more cases of such a move being beneficial to a talent than a detriment. Most recently we have seen this with Grayson Waller, who with one promo back in NXT in July completely turned his WWE career around after years of languishing on Raw and SmackDown.

There are many others currently on the main roster who could benefit from this same jump, and Kiana James is one of the more glaring examples that comes to mind.

James hasn’t wrestled on SmackDown since July, and her promising start to the year – where she qualified for the women’s elimination Chamber match – didn’t amount to any serious push. In fact, after the split of her tag team with Giulia, James pretty much vanished.

The 29-year-old recently made a return to NXT for the NXT Women’s Championship number one contender’s battle royal on October 6, and while that appears to just have been a one off, WWE should consider making it a more permanent move.

James has everything it takes to be a heel champion, but at this point in time that feels way more likely to happen in NXT than on Friday Night SmackDown.
