What Triple H said to Chelsea Green immediately following her Interim WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam revealed.
Prior to WWE SummerSlam, it was revealed that WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley would be out of action due to an injury, with it not known how long she would be out of action for.
With Rhea out of action, WWE announced that an interim WWE Women’s Champion would be crowned at SummerSlam, with Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, Charlotte Flair, Chelsea Green and Lash Legend set to face off in a Ladder match to be named champion.
The match would end up being won by Chelsea Green, with her entering the match as the sentimental favorite among the fans in Minneapolis.
Triple H has since commented on Chelsea’s victory, with her also making reference to comments made by Michael Hayes on WWE Unreal following the show, but WWE has now shared a behind the scenes video from SummerSlam.
In a new video showcasing Triple H’s day at SummerSlam, footage was shown of he and Chelsea immediately following the match, including his initial comments to her.
He told her:
“You always stay ready. You always stay prepared. Everything we’ve given you knocked out of the park.”
