A new report has indicated that Bruce Prichard is set to retire from his role as WWE Executive Director following WrestleMania 43 in 2027.
This led to a followup report that Shawn Michaels will replace Prichard in this role on the WWE main roster.
With Michaels set to be in charge of the WWE main roster creative alongside Paul “Triple H” Levesque, there should be some NXT talent that are brought up to Raw and SmackDown in the coming year.
Here are five WWE NXT stars to be potentially called up to the main roster under Shawn Michaels.
Kelani Jordan

On the September 14 edition of Monday Night Raw, NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan made her main roster debut in a Money In The Bank qualifying match against Lola Vice and Raquel Rodriguez.
Since arriving in WWE, Jordan has shown a great deal of potential for her athleticism and how quickly she adapted to the world of pro wrestling.
It seems quite clear that Jordan will be one of the next NXT talents to get called up to the main roster soon.
With Shawn Michaels replacing Bruce Prichard as WWE Executive Director, it would not be surprising to see Kelani Jordan soon follow HBK.
Myles Borne
Another WWE NXT star who has been expected to become a main roster call-up is Myles Borne.
Over the past year, Borne has seen his role on NXT expand and become a featured star on the WWE roster.
Proving himself inside the squared circle and as a character, Borne is being prepped for the next stage of his career.
Borne following Shawn Michaels to the WWE main roster seems inevitable and might see him become a prominent act on Raw or SmackDown in the near future.
ZARIA

In 2024, ZARIA was one of the major free agent signings for the WWE NXT brand.
Since then, the Australian star has been highlighted as a prominently featured act on NXT over the past two years.
ZARIA is now the current NXT Women’s North American Champion and someone who seems on the cusp of making the move to the main roster.
Considering how much Shawn Michaels has used her on NXT, it would make sense to see ZARIA make the move to the WWE main roster alongside the Senior Vice President of Talent Development.
Tony D’Angelo
Over the past five years, Tony D’Angelo has become one of the biggest stars to ever step foot in the WWE NXT brand.
“The Don of NXT” was one of the first stars introduced during the 2.0 era that began in 2021.
Since then, D’Angelo made history as the first ever NXT Grand Slam Champion, holding every title available to him on the brand.
While it has felt like he will be on NXT forever, Tony D has a better chance to make the jump to the WWE main roster with Shawn Michaels set to assume the role of Executive Director.
Kendal Grey

Another WWE NXT star who seems destined for the main roster is Kendal Grey.
Over the past year, no talent on the NXT brand has had more of a meteoric rise than Grey at this time.
After making her debut in 2025, Grey became WWE Evolve Women’s Champion and NXT Women’s Champion.
Considering how her huge push on NXT, Kendal Grey seems like a no-brainer call-up for Shawn Michaels when he takes over as WWE Executive Director.
