Royce Keys has shared his honest thoughts on his upcoming SummerSlam debut, commenting on his match scheduled for the event.
The former “Powerhouse Hobbs” will wrestle at SummerSlam for the first time this year, with Keys set to team with LA Knight and Solo Sikoa to take on The Usos and Jacob Fatu.
Keys commented on this match-up during an interview with Big Reid, noting that he feels blessed to work with these stars.
Royce Keys said:
“It’s good, man. I’m blessed. It’s just, being around people that you care about, and you get to do what you do, the thing that you love. It’s all good.”

Keys does have history with the Anoa’i family, having personally known the family for years.
The up-and-coming WWE star goes way back with Jacob Fatu in particular, first wrestling him in March 2014, and having shared the ring with him numerous times since then.
Royce Keys made his WWE debut in January’s Royal Rumble match, eliminating Damian Priest, before ultimately being eliminated by Bronson Reed.
He didn’t appear on WWE TV for over two months after this debut appearance, instead wrestling in dark matches ahead of his SmackDown in-ring debut on the April 10 episode.
Keys recently confirmed that he had asked Triple H if he could wrestle in dark matches at every single TV taping ahead of his SmackDown TV debut.
Royce Keys hit the ground running after his first TV appearance, winning the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on April 17, and becoming associated with the Bloodline storyline shortly after.
While he hasn’t yet competed for a traditional championship, the accolades Keys has won, and his association with top stars indicates that WWE does see value and potential in the former AEW star.
It would be great to see Royce Keys move up the card following SummerSlam to join the main event picture, as WWE continues to push new stars across the Raw and SmackDown brands.
