Former WWE Champion Sheamus has shown off his impressive physique following his departure from the company, with rumors swirling about his next move.
The near 20 year WWE tenure of Stephen Farrelly – better known to fans as Sheamus – is now over, with the star’s profile moved to the Alumni section of the company’s roster page on July 6.
Reports prior to this had indicated that Sheamus was set to leave the company once his contract expired.
Sheamus has now taken to social media to share a physique update, following his WWE exit and amid his lengthy in-ring absence.
The Irish star shared a photo – which you can view below – with the caption:

Sheamus recently shared a farewell message of his own, posting “slán mo WWE chairde”, which translates to “goodbye my WWE friends.”
JD McDonagh is the latest star to pay tribute to Sheamus, sharing a photo of him on Instagram with a thank-you message.
Sheamus’ friend and former rival Drew McIntyre has also posted following the Irish star’s departure, sharing throwback photos of the duo together.
Following Sheamus’ WWE departure, there naturally has been some speculation about the star potentially joining AEW.
It would make sense for Sheamus specifically to become All Elite, as he would be able to reunite his tag-team with his friend Claudio Castagnoli, something which Jim Ross recently pitched.
With Sheamus not having wrestled since November, the former WWE Champion’s return to the ring will be highly anticipated, no matter which company he wrestles in next.
