WWE
The reach of The 946 could grow beyond WWE Raw, if recent comments by Roman Reigns are anything other than paranoia.
Last night’s episode of WWE Raw saw The Bloodline and The 946 brawl, with The Usos and Solo Sikoa being joined by Roman Reigns, who had his own issues with Sami Zayn at the start of the show.
As WWE Survivor Series: WarGames approaches, it does look like the next major stop for the feud will be in a steel cage, with a number of stars emerging as potential additions to The 946:
Sami Zayn
Opening last night’s WWE Raw, Roman Reigns was initially happy to see Sami Zayn, before turning his attention to the championships held by both men. It didn’t help that Reigns would make it clear that whichever title he held was the one at the top, something that Zayn took a dim view on.
It also perhaps hasn’t helped that Reigns, reflecting on Zayn’s membership of The Bloodline, asked his opposite number on WWE SmackDown whether he had allied himself with The 946.
If that wasn’t something that was about to happen, it should provide Zayn with food for thought as they both head to Saudi Arabia to determine the WWE Crown Jewel Champion on November 7.
LA Knight
LA Knight and Solo Sikoa were seemingly a unit up until The Bloodline came calling, more specifically in the form of Roman Reigns, who brought the star back into the fold ahead of this week’s episode of WWE Raw.
Knight has issues with Reigns, unleashing a verbal tirade on the World Heavyweight Champion that saw him critique The OTC’s push, teeth and general character before losing to him at WWE Money in the Bank.
Jacob Fatu
It is perhaps no surprise that Jacob Fatu didn’t come to the rescue of his family on WWE Raw, having been run down by Jaida Parker.
Absent from television since being hit with a car on the September 28 episode of Raw, it’s coming up to a month since Fatu was last seen, with Reigns having commented that the star is a “soldier” and shouldn’t be the one giving orders, while addressing the situation between The Bloodline and The 946 earlier this month.
Fatu’s relationship with The Bloodline has been fractious in the past and comments like that are unlikely to sit well with the Samoan Werewolf.
The membership matters
Whoever joins The 946 next, their membership matters, particularly with the clear dominance in the faction of Royce Keys.
It’s likely that, at some point, a challenge to authority will emerge, but that should be a long way off, with a clear reason for such a story to take place.
For now, The 946 has been a rare collective threat to The Bloodline and, with Reigns referencing Zayn as a potential member, an indication as to the games at play with the psyche of a paranoid World Heavyweight Champion who sees threats and enemies around every corner.
