This past Monday’s WWE Raw saw Chad Gable’s three month run as Intercontinental Champion come to an end courtesy of “All Ego” Ethan Page.
This title change may be a sign of what’s to come in the month of November, as many more champions across all three brands of WWE appear to be at risk of losing their gold.
Here are two potential title changes we could see in the three weeks that separate Crown Jewel on November 7 and Survivor Series on November 28:
IYO SKY wins WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title from Raquel Rodriguez
In his three month Intercontinental Title reign, Chad Gable defended the title five times on television. While this doesn’t sound like a whole lot, it becomes an impressive figure when compared to Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez, who, in just over three months as champion, has only defended her title once.
Obviously that is no slight on Rodriguez – she doesn’t book the matches after all – it’s just to point out how poor a job WWE has done with the title throughout her first singles title run on the main roster; a reign that may soon to be over.
IYO SKY picked up a non title match win over Rodriguez on the October 26 episode of Raw, which should put her in line for an opportunity at the gold in the coming weeks.
With both stars looking likely to be on opposing WarGames teams at Survivor Series, SKY winning the IC Title could help add some extra stakes to the match’s build.
Bakusai defeats MFTs for WWE Tag Team Championships
WWE Crown Jewel 2026 will see The Vision defended their World Tag Team Titles for the first time in their over 120 day reign as champions; which accurately represents how much WWE has cared about their tag team division in 2026.
Things aren’t much better over on SmackDown, with The MFTs only being given one opportunity to defend their WWE Tag Team Titles in almost three months with the gold, all despite feuding with Bakusai for almost the entirety of those three months.
The two teams have somehow yet to face off in a traditional two on two title match, and their most recent advertised non-title contest never went ahead due to the two teams brawling on the ramp before the match could begin.
One would think that, at some point, a WWE Tag Team Title match will in fact go ahead between the two teams, with Shinsuke Nakamura & Kyoki probably the favorites to win that match when it comes. It’s just a shame that few fans will probably care when that title change happens, as they havent’ really been given much of a reason to be invested in this storyline, or the wider SmackDown tag team division.
