VidantaWorld Mexico Open Round 1 tee times: What to know
On Thursday at the Mexico Open, you’ll be able to watch accomplished PGA Tour veterans like Wyndham Clark and Max Homa dueling in the sun. But you’ll also get to witness the PGA Tour pro debut of an up-and-coming player with a famous name: John Daly II.
The son of two-time major champion John Daly, Daly II turned pro this summer after a successful amateur and collegiate career at the University of Arkansas.
Daly II made his very first Tour start in March at the Puerto Rico Open, where he made the cut and finished T37 as an amateur. Since turning pro, he’s played one DP World Tour event and two Korn Ferry Tour tournaments.
Now Daly II will make a run at a high finish as he vies for Tour status for next season.
Daly II tees off for Round 1 at 10:44 a.m. ET alongside Marco Penge and Ben James.
You can watch Thursday’s first round of the 2026 VidantaWorld Mexico Open from 4-7 p.m. ET on Golf Channel. Simulcasts of the TV coverage can be viewed on Golfchannel.com and the Golf Channel app.
