Jack Alexy made history last night, breaking the world record in the 100 free (25m) in 44.64. The previous record had been held by both Kyle Chalmers and Egor Kornev at 44.84. After the race, Alexy described the feeling of having a childhood hero, Caeleb Dressel, encourage him to sit on the lane line and celebrate his great accomplishment.
