For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Odette Brown from Greer, South Carolina, has made a verbal commitment to swim and study at the University of Southern California beginning in the 2028-29 school year. She wrote on social media:

“I am beyond excited and incredibly grateful to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Southern California! ❤️💛 I want to start by thanking my parents, my sister, my teammates, and my friends for their endless love, encouragement, and support throughout this journey. I am also so grateful to all of the amazing coaches I had the opportunity to meet throughout the recruiting process. A very special thank you to Coach Carlton, Coach Karl, and Coach Becky for helping me get to this point. I am incredibly grateful for everything you have done for me! Finally, I want to thank Coach Lea, Coach Keith, and the entire USC coaching staff for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity to continue both my academic and swimming career at USC. I am so excited for this next chapter!
Fight On! ✌️❤️💛”
