With less than a week until WWE hosts its annual Crown Jewel PLE in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, WWE heads to Brooklyn, NY for the November 2 episode of Monday Night Raw.

The show’s line-up is a stacked one, with a special appearance from John Cena, Roman Reigns addressing his Crown Jewel opponent Sami Zayn, Royce Keys and Solo Sikoa squaring off one-on-one and much more announced for the show.

As well as the advertised action, we may very well see some unexpected moments throughout the show, some of which could have a knock on effect on Saturday’s PLE and beyond.

Here are three potential surprises for the November 2 WWE Raw:

Ethan Page dethrones Chad Gable for Intercontinental Championship

During Adam Pearce’s Sunday rundown of the WWE Raw card for November 2, he announced that Chad Gable would be putting his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Ethan Page.

This follows Page and Big Cass earning a win over Gable and Dragon Lee in tag team action last week, a match which saw Gable appear to suffer some kind of injury towards its latter stages when taking Page’s Egoplex on the outside.

Thankfully it appears as if that spot was an angle, or was at least not as bad as it seemed, and Gable will now be facing one of his biggest tests yet as Intercontinental Champion.

While Page pinned Dragon Lee rather than Gable last week on Raw, he still has all the momentum heading into this one and WWE may very well choose to switch the title over to “All Ego,” even if it’s just to get Gable back on the chase for a few weeks/months before winning it back.

John Cena announces changes to original John Cena Classic pitch

For the first time in almost an entire year, John Cena will be making an appearance on Monday Night Raw during tonight’s episode.

His social media post promoting the appearance all but confirmed that he will be finally revealing more details regarding the inaugural John Cena Classic event, which was first announced by the 17-time world champion at Backlash 2026 in May.

It seemed like neither WWE nor Cena had a firm idea on what exactly the final idea for the event looked like when it was announced, so there’s every chance that we could see certain elements of the John Cena Classic changed.

The most controversial aspect of the event was the fan vote, as it seems a bit preposterous that a wrestler could lose all of their matches at the event, but still find themselves walking out as the champion at the end of it. If WWE can tweak this and have fans vote on who will be taking part, or who faces off against who, then it would probably be far better received.

Jacob Fatu returns during Royce Keys vs. Solo Sikoa match

After both groups took a week off last week, the war between The Bloodline and The 946 will pick up again in Brooklyn when Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys go one-on-one.

With Roman Reigns looking towards Sami Zayn at Crown Jewel, he may not want to get as involved in proceedings as he did the last time we saw him on Raw two weeks ago.

Thankfully, The Bloodline has one more member waiting in the wings: Jacob Fatu. “The Samoan Werewolf: has been out of action since being hit by Jaida Parker’s car a month ago, but with Survivor Series WarGames on the horizon, we could be seeing him back involved in the conflict during tonight’s Raw.
